Following Daddy and Doggie through the snow was a challenge.
We woke up this morning to about 2 inches of snow, since then, it has accumulated to about 4 inches and growing! This is the first winter Owen was actually able to recognize and play in the snow, he had so much fun! Chasing snow flakes, falling on the ground, at one point, he even lost his shoe he was moving so fast through the snow! Owen loved it, we had to bribe him with Animal crackers to get him to come in the house. He absolutely loved it!
I'm now on week 15, almost 16 of pregnancy with Baby #2. Things are going well. Didn't experience any morning sickness, just extreme exhaustion...but I think I'm slowly getting my second wind! In two and half weeks, I have my 18 week check up, followed by my BIG ultra sound, where we get to find out what we are having! Eric and I are anxiously awaiting that day. It's been hard to sit down and think about possible names, nursery design, etc, knowing in just a few weeks we'll know what we are having. I think we are waiting until then to begin playing the "name game". No favorites yet, and I believe Owen had about 6 names before we settled on his actual name.
Eric is still very busy at work. VERY busy! And I am also extremely busy??--which is odd, being in the insurance industry, and the amount of hits we have taken lately (people losing their jobs and not being able to afford health insurance, owners no longer wanting to provide benefits for their employees, employers going bankrupt after 1 month of claims have already been paid--but no premium was recieved)...we have been approved a little overtime the past few weeks, of which I am taking full advantage of! Probably why I am so exhausted lately too!
We went to Fall Festival yesterday, and got to visit with Aunt Diane & Uncle Ron, check out all of Aunt Diane's wonderful pottery, as well as visit with Kim & Gina. We walked around the Fesitval and checked out all the booths! It was great, and I think Owen really enjoyed it!
Next weekend we look forward to taking Owen out to the Pumpkin Patch; last year Owen was a little small, couldn't walk, and wasn't able to enjoy all the fun games and activities that were out there! This year will be a whole different story! I can't wait! More pictures to come!
We hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!
Love and Miss you ALL!
