Fun in the Sun!

Little Princess is 8 weeks old now!
On Mother's Day (also Owen's birthday this year), we went out to my parents house. Owen LOVES riding on the lawn mower out in the fields. He asked anyone and everyone to take him for a spin!

Noel spends a lot more time awake now during the day, since she's getting anywhere from 8-12 hours of sleep a night! Very happy, relaxed baby.

This last weekend we made our first "Family of Four" trip, to Great Grandma and Grandpa Murphy's house. Owen was in heaven, they had helicopters, airplanes, tonka trucks, lots and lots of steps for climbing; and though you can't really see it in this photo they even had a SLIDE too!! Owen really enjoyed himself, and surprisingly the trip did not change Noel's sleeping patterns at all! She ate and slept on que as usual. Slept almost 11 hours the first night! We had so much fun visiting with family in the Valley. Looking forward to doing it again, soon!

This little guy is Issac, he's actually my cousin--so Owen's 2nd cousin. You'll never guess how old he is either...19 months!!--and to top it off my Aunt was telling me that at 19 months he is the size of your average 33 month old. Owen had a lot of fun playing with Issac and his big sister Simone (Moe-Moe). There were so many cousins and 2nd cousins running around Great Grandma and Grandpa's house...reminded me a lot of when I was little doing the exact same thing at their old house. In and out of the pool, around the volleyball courts, up and down the playground, and in and out of the barn.

On our way home from Great Grandma and Grandpa's house, we stopped off at a campsite so I could feed Noel and Owen could stretch his legs. Owen wasn't too sure about the water...

Then Daddy let go of his hand and Owen freaked!!! Even though he was only inches away from the shore line (seen directly behind Owen).

Owen did enjoy climbing all over the big rocks in the river.

Noel was hypnotized by the wind blowing in the trees...she loved it out there!

Owen refused to come back to the car, he was too busy running around and throwing rocks.
