Happy Father's Day Daddy!

On our way home, we stopped at a park just East of Sweet Home and had a little picnic lunch.

Owen was HUNGRY!

We had such an amazing trip (Thank you Aunt Anna!!), the weather was great. A little over cast, and it only sprinkled for maybe an hour on Saturday. We walked down in the Historic Bay Front, trying out salt water taffy from each of the candy shoppes, looked for Sea Lions, and enjoyed a nice cruise from Newport to Toledo following the bay the entire time. It was such a great trip. Owen had fun too! He was very impressed and entertained at the Aquarium. They have an exhibit going on with "Oddwater"...all the creepy crawly's that hang out at the bottom of the ocean, the lit up each of the tanks, and Owen was mezmorized with the whole experience.

Owen also started walking, A LOT! He was walking all over the condo, he loved it! We are so proud of the little man, even despite taking a header into the base of the couch late Saturday afternoon, he still pressed on and kept walking! Even now as we are home, he is still pushing himself to walk more and more! What a BIG BOY!

Owen loved the ocean, he played in the sand, ate some of the sand, and loved the water! He was so impressed with it's size, and all the splashing he could do. World's Biggest Bath Tub.

The car trip went fine, we made to sure to stop often, let Owen get out of the car seat and stretch his legs. But when he fell asleep, boy did Eric and I boot scoot it as fast and as far as we could, before he woke up again!

We had a great time, and look forward to many more trips to the Beach as Owen gets older! It is so much fun!
